Dr. Cuchna graduated from University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He has been with Northwest Veterinary Clinic since 1990. Dr. Cuchna enjoys working with his clients on all aspects of dairy production medicine, especially nutrition, reproduction and calf-raising. Small ruminant/camelid nutrition and parasite control are areas of interest as well. Dr. Cuchna has completed Purdue University’s Veterinary Homeland Security Certificate Program, is active in the Washington State Reserve Veterinary Corp, and completed the University of Wisconsin Dairy Health Management Certificate Program in 2000.
His memberships include the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP), American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners (AASRP), National Mastitis Council (NMC), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM).
Community Involvement: Dr. Cuchna has given presentations to local 4-H clubs, various groups through the San Juan, Skagit and Snohomish County Extension Offices, and the Washington State Association of Agricultural Educators.
Dr. Cuchna likes to spend time with his wife, two children and all their events. He also enjoys photography, bicycle riding, boating, hiking and genealogy. He has one dogs, Dolly.
