We are looking for a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our fabulous team at our AAHA accredited small animal practice which includes two LVTs with over 30 years’ experience and another with 16 years’ experience.
If you possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic as well as a sense of humor, then you just might be the perfect fit to join our hard-working, but fun-loving team. You must possess a Washington State license and have at least two years’ experience. We have been AAHA Accredited for 30 years and practice high quality medicine with an emphasis on quality care, but just as important, we strongly believe in work/life balance.
Our shift needs are Fridays and Saturdays, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm with the potential of adding other shifts as needed.
The Veterinary Technician supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.
